Interfaith Posada &Prayer Vigil for Immigration
Join Omaha Together One Community and immigrant groups as we welcome Jesus, Mary and Joseph in this beautiful Latin American tradition and pray in solidarity with Dreamers, those with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and other immigrants. Our prayers and focused action are critical as deadlines to end these vital programs are coming in early 2018. Join us Monday December 18, 2017 at 6 pm at St. John's Creighton, 24th and California. Mental Health Action Team Tour of Douglas County Corrections
The OTOC Mental Health Action Team will plan to meet with some staff at the Douglas County Corrections facility on December 8 at 1 pm for more discussion of mental health problems and tour. We hope to gain more knowledge and insight as to how our OTOC group can help with moving the systems forward in the Omaha area and improve life for people with serious mental illnesses/substance addiction.
