OTOC’s Celebrating Community Fundraiser
Saturday, August 8 – Sunday, August 16th

The OTOC Leadership Team has made the decision that it is not safe to hold a large celebration this summer due to the Covid 19 pandemic. We will really miss seeing everyone this summer, but we have come up with another way to celebrate! Prior to our community shutdown in mid-March we collected over 300 items for the silent auction. We have explored going virtual with our silent auction and are ready to proceed.  We invite you to join us in August for our first OTOC Virtual Silent Auction.

The virtual silent auction will take place August 8 – 16.  You can bid on items on a computer, smart phone or a tablet. You will receive instructions on how to set up your personal bidding account in late July.  You will be able to preview items in early August and start bidding on August 8 after registering a credit card for purchasing your items. One interesting feature will give you the ability to follow items that you are bidding on and be alerted when your bid is raised. You can also peruse unbid items to take advantage of some great bargains. If you have any trouble navigating the online process, don’t worry! We will have help available during the registration time and the bidding period to assist you.

You will be able to share information about the auction with friends and family – even post on your Facebook or other social media accounts.  We would love to have new bidders this year, so please feel free to share!

Once the auction is concluded you will pick up your items at the home of Carol Beaty. Address, dates and times for pick up will be provided.

All items submitted in March have been photographed and descriptions attached in the auction software. Auction categories are like what OTOC has used before.  We have lots of baskets, art, jewelry, restaurant gift cards, personal services, and entertainment offerings and many, many miscellaneous items. There is no shortage of things to bid on! If your congregation did not get a basket turned in before the March shut down, we can still accept it – up until July 15.

We are excited and look forward to seeing all of you online at the OTOC Virtual Silent Auction!

If you have any questions, please contact Carol Beaty at cabeaty@cox.net.

“Share Our Passion”–Celebrating Community 2017

Thanks to the 500 people who attended OTOC Celebrating Community on April 1, our most successful annual event to date.

Thanks also to the many OTOC leaders who dedicated themselves to  organizing and planning the evening.

And thanks to our three wonderful entertainers, numerous local businesses and individuals who believe in us enough to be our sponsors and who donated over 300 items in our silent auction.

Please support our generous sponsors who made this evening possible.
